The Bridgnorth and Morville Parishes Team Ministry

Bridgnorth Food Bank

The Bridgnorth and Morville Parishes Team Ministry is pleased to work alongside the other town churches in sponsoring and supporting Bridgnorth Food Bank, which provides emergency food assistance to people in need.

How it works:

Food is donated, checked for 'best before' or 'use by' dates and stored, ready to be distributed.

Local agencies are able to refer people in need of assistance to the Bridgnorth Food Bank and issue them with a food voucher.

Clients then go to the Bridgnorth Food Bank Distribution Point at Number Seven West Castle Street, Bridgnorth, with their food voucher and the team will discuss with them their particular circumstances and needs.  The food bank is open on Monday mornings, 10.30am-12.30pm.

The food bank team agree a support plan with a review date, and then arrange provision of food.

I need help, what do I do?

If you require assistance please ask for a food voucher to issued by any local agency you have contact with.

Bridgnorth Food Bank take referrals from agencies including:

  • Statutory organisations, council services and Multi-Agency teams.
  • Health Visitors.
  • Medical and Healthcare professionals.
  • Housing Associations.
