Walk dates:

All our walks start at Eardington Village Hall in School Lane at the times indicated, and on our return back to the Hall refreshments are served at a cost of £1.00 per person donated to Village Hall Funds. Everyone is welcome, so tell your friends and relatives.

Community Club

Monday evening from 7pm until 9pm, where table tennis, darts, golf (summer) and putting (winter) will be available. We are hoping soon to start indoor bowls, if we can locate two sets of bowls, a jack and some matting.  Good news we have recently acquired two new table tennis tables. All ages are welcome, and if you need transport contact Brian Williams on 01746 761969 or 07976 363609.

Knitter & Natter

Knit & Natter Club every Thursday afternoon from 2.30pm until 5.00pm, where people can exchange ideas on handicrafts, knitting, tapestry, embroidery and quilting to name but a few or just come along for  coffee or tea and have a chat. EARDINGTON NATURE RESERVE

OPEN DAY SUNDAY 15th MAY 2016

Friends of Eardington Nature Reserve and Shropshire Council are holding an OPEN DAY on

Sunday 15th May 12-4pm.

Bring your friends and family down to the nature reserve, join in the fun and explore this special place.

Get involved in activities including building a bug hotel and bird ringing.

There will also be stalls, Chelmarsh Owl Rescue and a BBQ.
Sorry no dogs allowed due to the ground nesting bird season.

The car park is open from 8am till 8pm through summer and 9am till 4pm through winter.

Why not come along and spend 4 hours volunteering and you can fill up your log store for free at the same time with some freshly cut firewood. 

At the recent Friends of the Eardington Nature a Reserve AGM - the following Officers were appointed - Chairman : Mr James Gittins.  Vice Chairman : Mr John Payne.  Treasurer : Mr Brian Smith.  Secretary : Mr John Dixon.

During a recent Exploration Day of Species on the Reserve over 60 different species were found in a very small allocated area with a specie of Lesne's Earwig being found and being the most northern point of this specie being found in the UK, also Glow worm lava being found on the site.
